Emery-Go-Round Annual Meeting Thurs – May 16, 2013 – Major Controversy Surrounds Board Selection Process

The Enery Go Round Board held a meeting on April 18, 2013 at 9:00am at 3900 Harlan Street. An audio recording of the Board meeting and the Agenda packet for that meeting is provided below.



There is a major controversy surrounding the upcoming Annual meeting and the selection of Board Members. The Emeryville Property Owners Association represents a group of property who are Members of the Emeryville Transportation Management Association. A non profit mutual benefit corporation created to manage and operate the Emery Go Round. Funding to run the Emery Go Round is provided by an annual property owner assessment known as Property/Business Improvement District. The Board is responsible for the management of the bus system, and they make a recomedation to the City Council each year to adjust the amount of money to be collectedthe assessments to insure aer for the amount of money necessary to operate trhe service. for managing the operatuAccording to the law, the participating property owners are supposed to receive in proportion to the amount of money they are required to pay
