Residents ask City Council to Retain Eucalyptus Trees in Temescal Creek Park

At the October 16, 2012 City Council Meeting a large number of residents turned out to urge the City Council not to cut down the Eucalyptus trees in Temescal Creek Park. There are red hawks living in the trees. The City Council decided not to cut down the trees, and to explore other ways to deal with the issue of the falling limbs. Only one resident., Jim Golden, from Emery Bay Village, spoke against saving the Trees. A video of the City Council Agenda item is below.
